Asakusa Temple/Temple d'Asakusa

Posted on 2/11/2008 by Myriam Moret

Sunday afternoon! What else is there to do but to spend a few hours mingling with the crowd at the temple. The food vendors were out and there's hundreds of little shops to visit, shrines, a koi fish pound...  see for yourself.

Dimanche après-midi.

That little guy on a bicycle just makes this pic.

A secondary temple, with an alley bordered by little shrines.

The pagoda is very cool but that bird makes it a hundred times cooler.

No, I'm not photoshoped over a background and yes it was a chilly day so I'm wearing 3 layers and look all stiff and stuffed.

Fuel stop!

On fait le plein!

Hard to believe we're in one of the largest city in the world.

The smoke is coming from a gigantic incence burner.

Walking around a bit, we found this very nice old building. There is a cemetary right in front of it so I gather it must be some kind of temple. Streets are decorated for Sakura already, it's early spring here and Sakura is the name for the cherry blossoms.

Hey there! I just wanted to ask if you ever have any issues with hackers? My last blog (wordpress) was hacked and I ended up losing a few months of hard work due to no data backup. Do you have any solutions to prevent hackers? Fußballtrikots Kinder Manchester City
