Back at it. I'm starting a new program in a new school in Graphic Design. Not that I didn't like web but life circumstances didn't allow me to explore that avenue further and then I remember that I f***ing liked the typefaces catalogues, the left over stencils sheets and Pantone colours posters my uncle gave me when I was a kid. So I enrolled in this Infographic course. I think that now I will really appreciate the work of computer illustrators even more. I aspire to be good... Not Jason Freeny or John Senior good, but you know... Ok good. Enough to get a little recognition.
Everything I've learn in the web program is not lost. It's all stuff I can use and build on... and being the geek I am, I still liked prog (Thanks Michelle D!) no matter how much I bitched about it. I believe that what I have learned so far and what I will learn later will make me happy. And so far, I'm healthy and loving what I do is the best thing I can imagine happening to me. Being happy. What more can you ask for?
De retour sur les bancs d'école. Je commence un nouveau programme en Infographie. Ce n'est pas que je n'aimait pas le web mais les circonstances ne m'ont pas permise d'explorer cette voie plus loin. Et puis je me suis souvenue que j'aimait ca en "criss" les catalogues de fontes, les vieux stencils et les chartes Pantone en posters que mon oncle me donnait quand j'étais ti-cul! Donc, je me suis inscrite en Infographie. Je crois qu'à partir de maintenant, je vais apprécier le travail des illustrateurs numérique encore plus. J'aimerais être bonne... peut-être pas comme Jason Freeny ou John Senior mais assez bonne pour qu'on en parle un peu.
Ce que j'ai appris en web n'est pas perdu. Ce sont toutes des notions que je peut exploiter et explorer plus tard... et, étant la nerd que je suis, j'apprécie encore la prog (Merci Michelle D.) peu importe combien j'ai pu médire contre! Je crois que ce que j'ai appris jusqu'à maintenant et ce que j'apprendrai plus tard me rendront heureuse. Et jusqu'à maintenant, je suis en santé et faire ce que j'aime vraiment est la meilleure chose que j'envisage. Être heureux. Que demander de mieux?
